The Icon block places an icon from the Iconify library on the page. Icons can also be inserted inline within text.
Features
- Icon sets: Any Iconify icon name works, for example
mdi:homeormdi:github. A live preview shows the result. - Size, color and padding: Size and padding are numbers in pixels or any CSS value. The color uses the color picker, and a button clears it so the icon inherits the text color.
- Alignment: Left, center or right.
- Inline icons: The inline icon tool in the toolbar of text blocks inserts an icon within a line of text. Click an inline icon to change it.
How to use
Type /icon to insert the block and enter the icon name. The Iconify script is loaded only on pages that contain an icon.
Tip:
The same icon names work in the Icon field of the Callout block. Icons are loaded from the Iconify service when the page is viewed.
