The Math block renders formulas with KaTeX. You write the formula in LaTeX syntax and see a live preview in the editor.
e^{i\pi} + 1 = 0
\int_{0}^{\infty} e^{-x^2}\,dx = \frac{\sqrt{\pi}}{2}
Features
- Live preview: The formula is rendered while you type. Syntax errors are shown in the preview.
- Display mode: Formulas are rendered as centered display equations.
- On-demand loading: KaTeX is only loaded on pages that contain a Math block.
How to use
Type /math to insert the block and enter the formula, for example \frac{a}{b} or \sum_{i=1}^{n} i. The supported commands are listed in the KaTeX documentation.
